My job is tailor made for me. I pick my own hours, meet new people, not stuck behind a desk or indoors all day. I have a boss that I see one day a week, if that, and anything I can't handle he deals with directly. Most of my clients are friendly and I am happy that I am able to help 95% of them. I see different parts of the state as well as a couple other states, I am home for dinner every night and we have bonuses that are worth working a little extra for. Even when gas prices went sky-high I didn't let it interfere with my job, I just channeled the face-to-face contacts with phone and mail correspondences. The pay could be higher but I'm not complaining about it.

Can't say I love my job, but I do love my career. I'm a commercial insurance broker and got into the business at the young tender age of 18. It's not the career most people would find lucrative, but it's very rewarding. Can't imagine doing anything else.

ok, straight to the subject: I will keep doing my hobbies until one becomes a job even if I don't earn millions. And making enough money is important too. So these both ends should meet - better sooner than later! :)

Hi
One in five people are in the wrong job.
For me I only realise that it might be good fun after a project is finished and I can say to myself 'i did that'
Since I am recently new to my current post of pipeline engineer what I can say it very much depends on interaction with colleagues and working with, rather than against, the other functions of the organisation. Getting on with your co workers is paramount because you spend more time with them than you do your family

I do.

I've spent 25 years working with satellites - not always the exact same job, but the same general field. I've enjoyed just about every side of satellite operations that I've been exposed to.
