alright so i have a question!

I'm planning on switching to a mac...I'm looking at the mac book right now (black)..Problem is intel has just announced this chip... Would it be worth it to wait until its released and apple starts putting it in there comps? What are the real benefits that i will be getting from it ? Any and all info that you could give me would be much appreciated

You HAVE to get the Mac with the new chip! In fact it already came out and are in the MacBooks! You should get it!

See, with the new chip, it's a lot faster than before. And now you can install Windows XP or Vista on your MacBook and you'll have a multi-platform computer. It's worth the switch!

It's the only laptop you'll need!

ya see, personaly i wouldnt really switch to mac anymore. now they use the same chip as the windows, and mac is more expensive. the only difference now is the opperating system and the new vista is prity close to the mac. (plus the entire world uses windows) there r more games and applications (a good firewall will block the viruses) and the new chip would come out in a dell or w/e too.

A mac is only a wanna be PC with OS x and no bios. There is really no reason at all to get a mac. A PC with Linux would be far superior then a pc with mac os (freebsd based - linux).
And if you're a gamer, it's PC and windows XP only.
