No, you can't stop growing unless its in your genetic make-up to do so, there is nothing you can do.

I'm a guy, and that i was once 4'6 once I began excessive university. I was once four'10 after I graduated, the shortest in my type at 18 years old. By the time I had been at school for one semester and came dwelling for christmas wreck I was 5'8 and weighed almost 60lbs extra (and had packed on relatively a bit of extra muscle instead of being just a twiggy skeleton) ... So i would say it's rather feasible that you nonetheless have some growing to do one day. However, girls customarily reach the tip of their physical development so much prior than adult males... Special people develop in one of a kind methods at one-of-a-kind instances. I'm 23 now and 5'10... So that you in no way understand.

My youngest sister is your height and age and she went through the same thing.
You can't make yourself stop growing and you can't control how tall or short you're going to be. That's already in your DNA.
You can, however, learn to accept your height, no what it is. I have seen women who are 6' tall and they look great in heels. Men come and go, but you only have one body. It's better to love the skin you're in and find a man who loves it too!
My sister was in her school fashion show this year, wore 3" heels, and she looked great. No one said she was too tall. Many people, however, did say that she looked like a "real model" mostly because of her height!
Take Care!

There is a type of treatment your doctor can prescribe, however he or she may be reluctant to do so. If you can get a parent on board take them with you to see your GP. I do know that this treatment is usually only used for conditions such as when a younger childs bones are growing too fast for there body. I do not know if it is suitable for you. I believe it is hormone related and at your age this may have side affects.
I know it is no comfort and I'm sure you have heard it too often but i would love to be your height. My daughter is taller than you and she wears heals. It always turns heads and she (now) likes her height as she says it gives her confidence.
I really do wish you well.

You will not grow much more, most girls stop soon after 16.
But even if you do, you should not worry, real men with a mature outlook do not find tall girls and women intimidating. One of the most admired actresses is Sigourney Weaver, (my personal favourite). She is over six feet tall and greatly admired. If you are lucky enough to to grow tall, make the most of your height. Don't try to fit some preconceived image of what a woman should be like, be yourself, be confident. Concentrate on your education, you are young. Don't wast your youth longing for mediocrity, be brave and accept yourself.

You are what you are! There is nothing you can do. Look at your parents heights. You are likely to be an inch or two taller than your mother but this is just an estimate.
try to be proud and walk tall! All the best!

Have you talked to your practioner about this. He should know about how tall you should end up getting.
Both of my female cousins are realy tall. the older one 18 ended up at 5' 11
her sister 14 is taller than she is, doctors said shes end up being 6'4.
(I've heard an old wives tale that 3 years after your period starts, you stop growing.) This rang true for me... just throwing that out there.

You will probably damage your health if make attempts to stop growing. Many men like taller girls / women - they often have posture, poise and elegance that shorter ones may not have.
Remember everyone is growing taller these days - your height is not way over the average so I wouldn't be at all concerned.

Normally a girl stops growing 1 year after they have began their menstrual cycle. Not if it's been a year and you are still growing, go talk to your doctor. I am not sure if he can maybe ease your mind on how tall you will get, but I bet your about finished. Good luck.
