That's really gotten to me, yeah I had a drug problem but I overcame it and have never stopped being a productive member of society nor did my children suffer. I was hurting MYSELF not seeking victims to drag down into my depravity. Plus I took PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY for my actions.

Since you feel the need to air this issue in public, let us first address the bullshit:
1. Society in itself is judge and jury. If you practice illegal, irresponsible actions, the public will become your judge and jury.
2. You are no longer a "productive member of society" when what you produce is drug-induced.
3. If you were hurting yourself then YES you were hurting the children who need you, what if your "depravity" had taken you away from them???? In that way, you were risking that your kids could lose their mother either from death or prison.
4. Do you really believe that you were the only person affected by a drug problem? How can this NOT affect those who love you and don't want to lose you to the "depravity"?
Having said that, know that you are the minority. God, how did you make it out? So few do. You must have a fierce, inner strength. You are truly a warrior. Do people judge you for that??? If not, give them time. They will see the warrior shine through. And even if they never do, after all you've been through, do you really give a damn what anyone else thinks??? Stay strong, and get that chip off your shoulder. I wish we had more people in our society that had even an ounce of the inner strength that you possess.

Ugh, you should tell this to the people who actually did judge you. I never met you, so how the heck can I judge you? Besides, I'm not into judging people anyway. I'm a little too messed up myself. For example, I'm sitting here responding to a question instead of cleaning my own house. Also, I really need to be looking for a job. So, sorry, I don't even have time to judge you since I got my own crap to deal with!!
By the way, just do what you're doing and don't listen to other people. I think it's great that you were able to overcome your problems. Good for you! Was that too judgmental??? LOL!

Well obviously I have missed something...but I can say that I am an addict by nature & have overcame many obstacles (while still struggling), However, I myself am a productive member of society & my son is very well taken care of.
EVERYONE has their own personal demons.

Nobody has made me judge and jury. That's why I try really hard not to judge others because I don't like to be judged by others so what gives me the right to judge I'm not perfect either.

Because some people can't live their own lives, and a lot of those think they are higher than God or God himself, and think they know all the answers, don't even let anyone bring you down, remember, they are no more human than you are, and therefore cannot tell you that you are right or wrong. Good for you for overcoming the odds in your life.

My name is Joni B. and I do not have a meth lab in my basement, I have no basement, and I have never had a meth lab. But I sure did smoke alot of that shyt and waste alot of my time and money. But see now I can use my PAST to help others.

Girl please, what are you talking about? If someone has passed any judgment on you, you've just got to ignore them especially if they know nothing of your situation. People are just that way. I've been looked down on my whole life. Some people are just mean and some are just stupid. Don't let it get you down. You don't have to answer to them. They'll get what's coming to them.
