Have you run any scans to try to find it? If not try the 2 below.

http://www3.ca.com/securityadvisor/virusinfo/scan.aspx

Download HijackThis---http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/programs.php#hijackthis. Run and Save a Log. When you log comes up copy and paste the entire log at http://www.hijackthis.de/ . Analyze your results. You will then get a screen that will tell you if you have any nasty stuff in your computer. Follow instructions to deal with any nasties. CAUTION: This is a very powerful tool. Be careful.

Hard to say. I take it you don't have any antivirus software.

Try scanning with http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ and see what it finds. If you can't get there, find a friend who can cut you a CD or DVD with http://free.grisoft.com/doc/2/lng/us/tpl/v5, a free, very, very good virus program.

If you want to try and track it down without these, there's a incredibly detailed database on Symantec's site : http://www.symantec.com/enterprise/security_response/threatexplorer/threats.jsp
