not really. Both parties are corrupt, controlled by lobbyists and corporations. They only way any difference will be made in politics,is when Americans stop fighting and treating politics like a sporting event. Americans are allowing themselves to be divided by distractions. The people can create change, only when working together for the good of America.

Today, it makes no difference in the world who will be elected in 2008, nor in 2012, 2016, etc.

Yes, because the person who wins the '08 election will change the history of the world--and especially this country--forever. We are in a very touchy time right now, and we need someone in office who can tread lightly when needed, but firmly when needed.

At the end of the day no.

No matter who wins a large % of the country will be mad. Just like now...

Iraq will still need to be resolved. Just like now

I will still earn 12.50 an hour. OK maybe 13 after my raise (but about the same if libs win, so it is about the same)

and i will still sit here doing Y! answers and watching the history channel.

so nope, no real difference.

Yes. The MOST important thing that can be accomplished before then, given the new Congress, is a provably and transparently HONEST electoral system for Constitutional restoration. That means DUMPING HAVA!!!
