WKCR.org is a great station out of Columbia University. In addition to playing all styles of jazz, the DJs are students of jazz and inform the listeners of what they know. Often, there knowledge is first hand conversations from the musicians. They usually play whole album sides at a time. they also play rare stuff from LP records. It's the best thing for jazz, besides a gig. It's all commercial free too.

yahoo radio is free ( with commercials), they have a pretty good selection of jazz as far as I know, I have it mixed in with rock and metal and ol school country and rap though so I might not hear as much as I think I could
