I stopped in November, got my normal period (during the week of the placebos) and then December was actually 2 days early (26 instead of 28). This month is at 35 days and counting. How long did it take for your period to regulate itself? What is the "latest" period you have after stopping the pill?

After being on it for 17 years, it took a full 18 months for my cycle to be regular. I sometimes went for 45 days between periods.

Don't worry too much. Sometimes it takes a few months for your period to regulate when you first start taking the pill. I know it took me a good 6 months to get regulated after I started taking the pill. As far as your second question i have not quit taking them however I have switched pills and once again it took a while for my period to regulate. I have however heard from friends that it may take a while to regulate after you get off pills. Also, i have heard that when you first get off of the pills that you can be extremely fertile at first. I hope all of this helps. Also, too when you have been on the pill even for a while it is not uncommon to experience an irregular period every now and then and it is not uncommon to have it start a couple days early or a couple days late.

I stoped taking the pill in Nov. got my period a week after stopping them. then in dec. I got it on the 15th and this month I got it on the 15th, not sure if the pill is out of my system or not, since each month was on the 15th, including Nov. I know I am not pregnant yet. But it can take up to a year for your body to get back to normal after the pill.
