Personally, I generally generalize because people tend to get offended when someone personalizes things a lot... plus, I know the world (nor anything in it) is not really all about me.

Yea I generalize and I am usually right.

And people only get pissed about generalizations if the generalization represents them.

i don't think ive ever met one person who doesn't generalize to some degree....i always try to say "in my circumstance" or something
