I know someone that had psoriasis and they tried sunbeds
and steroid cream this helped a bit
then they went to a dietician and cut out dairy and chicken and for them it cleared up completely
so you have to treat form the inside out and get a allergy testing and omit foods that might be the root cause for you

I would suggest a homoeopath. Sun certainly helps. Do be careful of alternative treatments that suppress symptoms without tackling the cause.
A good site is Psoriasis Hall of PShame which lists the dodgier suggestions and the outright quacks.
Reflexology might also help.
Good luck with your search for a cure.

This site has really good info on alternatives, diet, vitains, creams etc. Please type in Psoriasis for all results.
They mention change of diet might e helpful, eg sufferers cannot digest gluten in wheat & also " One theory about the underlying cause of psoriasis is that the body cannot metabolise saturated fats from meat products properly. Sufferers have also been found to be lacking in both vitamin A and zinc."
Also is very important what products is is used to wash & care for skin, to use natural, non-abrasive products.(perhaps check out the MAlki Dead Sea range at Boots, they have a shampoo/conditioner, facial wash & soap, shower gel etc.
For a moisturizer, they recommned aloe vera, not only did it improve symptoms in trilas, it also the effects were lasting (see last link).
hope this is of some help
