It's entirely possible though not highly likely.
Each woman's cycle is unique. Most women, by the way, DO NOT ovulate on day 14 of their cycles. You can ovulate virtually anytime during your cycle. Usually, you have a pattern that can be discerned w/ charting every cycle.
A woman can also have short luteal phases (which is the days after ovulation and before your next period). An average luteal phase lasts around 12-14 days. An LP of at least 10 days is usually necessary for implantation. An LP of less than 10 can the cause of easily correctabe infertility b/c you can conceive but the embryo might not have time to implant before the next period.
From what I understand, the egg stays viable for only 12-24 hours after release. Usually a woman produces fertile cervical fluid (lack of fertile CF is another source of easily correctabe infertility) for a number of days before ovulation. The last day of the most fertile CF (usually eggwhite and slippery in consistency) is usually the day of ovulation. After that, the hormonal changes causes the CF to dry up.
So, if a woman ovulated really late or had a very short LP, conception 2 days prior to the next period.
The "next period" could also actually be implantation bleeding rather than a true period.
I highly recommend the books Taking Charge of Your Fertility and Garden of Fertility. I love charting and knowing my body. It takes much of the guesswork out of my cycles.

No. the only time u can get pregnant is during ovulation, which occurs two weeks prior toyour start date. For a woman with a regular 28-day cycle, this is normally around day 14 or so. Keep in mind that the sperm can live inside your body for up to six days, so you might want to be careful six days prior to day 14 of ur cycle. Seems complicated but it works!

Yes, you can. However, it is very unlikely. If you had a lot of stress or sickness, you could delay ovulation. This would allow you to get pregnant later in your cycle. Otherwise, 2 days before your period is generally way too late to get pregnant. You have already ovulated, the egg is dead, and your body is preparing to expell the endrometrium and start over.

highly unlikely onless your period caomes lateer then your expecting. You can only get pregnant when you ovulate which is generally 14 days before your period. Now unless you ovulated 12 days later then you should have and you get your period 12 days later then you should have. you cant concieve.
