Well if you had a period between the time you were raped and the time you had sex with your husband you should be fine and if you got pregnant in august then when you had your first OB appointment you would be around 9 weeks if you have any doubts about any of this you can always get a DNA test after the baby is born for peace of mind or let it go and either way you and your husband can be happy raising this baby as your own unless for some reason there would be a color issue but i think that there is nothing to worry about so relax and congrats

I am so so sorry for your experience. How awful beyond words.
The previous posters are right that the only sure way is by DNA test. As I understand it, it's pretty rare to conceive during a rape situation (since a woman is only fertile a few days during her cycle, the liklihood of a rape occuring during peak fertility...then there is still never a 100% chance of fertilization, implantation, etc etc).
I think you have to decide in your heart what you need to. I think your husband definitely needs to be involved in the decision. Perhaps it doesn't really matter who the biological father of the child is. What matters is that the child is yours. S/he is a part of you. A DNA test may hurt more than help. It could set any fears to rest, but where does it leave you if the rapist is the father? The child deserves love no matter what.
Given your dates, I would guess that your husband is the father of the baby though.

Sorry to hear that. Take a paternity test if you want to know. On the other hand your husband will be this babies dad no matter what the results are. It takes a penis to be a father it takes a real man to be a father. Count yourself lucky that you have a husband to help you through all this. I hope everything turns out good for all of you and you have a healthy happy baby.

It's hard for me to believe you were raped the last part of July and then had sex wtih your husband the first part of August. Of course, lots of "rape" victims throw that term around rather loosely..... Anyway, the only way to know for sure is a DNA test.
Before you all start giving me all the "thumbs down", she asked other questions saying she "had sex" on the "17th-22nd of July"....first, since when is being raped called "having sex"? Second, you can't remember which day you were raped? Hmmmmm.......

Wow, that's such a tough place to be. Though I don't know for sure if your baby is your husband's or the offender's (paternity tests are the only way to know for sure), my husband and I got pregnant around the 25th of July and we are due april 16th. Hope this helps. And if you need someone to talk to, though i hope you are getting professional help, i co-lead a counseling group for survivors of abuse including rape and i was also raped.

Sorry to hear that..
well my dr. told me that 14 days after your period is the time when your body is ready if you are trying to conceive, so if you had sex on Aug 8th and it is the 14th day after your period then if we calculate it, you got pregnant exactly on the 22nd so it sounds like it is your husband's baby. Still you should ask a doctor to be more sure.

The on;y logic answer to this question is an D>N>A> test that is what you need to get the dates are to close and most of the time doctors don't give the right date. So that is my suggestion is for you and your husband to go get a test done, and I pray everything turns out fine.

It sounds like it may not be. The only way to determine if it is your husband's child is to do a blood test. If it were your husband's then you would have only been 4 weeks pregnant or so unless you had intercourse with your husband around the time of the rape.

It is almost certainly your husband's baby. Make sure you were evaluated for all STDs, including AIDS. Having a healthy baby is way more important that who provided the DNA. If you are still concerned, you can do a quick DNA test after the baby is born.

well I'm assumming that your husband knows that you were raped. You NEED to have a D. N. A. Test to determine who the father of the baby is.
