I'm breastfeeding but will be going back to work part time soon. I want to start pumping my milk and give it to my 4 week old in a bottle. Does anybody have any advice or suggestions for me?

I recommend using a nipple that mimics the breast...there are lots of different kinds out there (Avent, Playtex Premium Nurser, Dr. Brown - expensive though, Evenflo Elan). You may have to try a few before you find one your baby likes. Also, for those 1st few tries, have someone else bottle feed. Your baby may reject the bottle from you, but accept it from someone else...b/c they know that milk comes from you, not a bottle.

My son grew to become into the comparable, might in basic terms have a bottle of milk to bypass to mattress and he could be publish asleep. So we positioned him to mattress conscious with a bottle (not a toddler's bottle) of water and whilst he cried we left him. He stored getting away from mattress so i did the speedy return the place i might positioned him back to mattress devoid of making eye touch and devoid of speaking to him and after 3 nights he grew to become into slumbering by way of. We additionally regularly occurring a habitual so he have been given used to bedtime. it is tub, brush the teeth, get waiting for mattress, examine 2 books after which a cuddle with me and into mattress. he's now basically over 3 and has been slumbering by way of seeing that he grew to become into 2. Its super as me and my significant different be responsive to that at 7.30 he would be taken up and we will not have any tears tantrums or whining for milk. i'm hoping which you have a harm by way of, my way would possibly not artwork for each guy or woman despite if it did artwork for me. sturdy good fortune! x

thats going to hard to do! try not take the baby all the way at one time. put some of your breast milk and the baby some time. when your baby start reaching for ur breast the baby wont them. so just take it one at a time.
