No...it's the exact same as playing on a PS1! It's just like a PS2 game still has PS2 graphics on a PS3! Hope that helps...

In theory the ps2 has an option for rendering textures of the ps1 games it plays better using its more powerful hardware. In practice, I couldn't ever tell a difference.

The PS2 can enhance slightly the old PS1 games. On the system startup screen, select the Playstation 1 bit (with the version number next to it) annd press triangle. Then it gives you the options to smooth textures and decrease load times, I think (off the top of my head!) If you activate these settings, you should notice some improvement in how they look.

No. The only difference in playinh PS1 games on a PS2 is that you're using a different console [and even using a different controller].
