OKAY, I WENT IN FOR MY ULTRASOUND AT 20 WEEKS (IT'S A BOY!) AND THE DOCTOR SAID THAT THE BABY WEIGHED IN AT 12OZ, AND THAT WAS KINDA SMALL FOR THE AGE OF THE BABY, BUT THEN WHEN I LOOK ONLINE IT SAYS AT 22 weeks that the baby is suppose to weigh up to 12 oz. I'm confused, do you think that i'm farther along than i thought i was or are all the websights wrong? thanks! sry bout the caps....didn't realize I was doing that.... PS. I'm suppose to be 22 weeks now....

you could be farther along, did you keep the pictures from the ultrasound they usually say what they have you down as for example mine said 16 weeks 4 days on the last one, take a look and see it could be that or you could check with your doc, he or she would probably tell you not to listen to everything you read though, good luck hun!

First, breath and relax. Every pregnancy is different, not every baby is going to weigh 12 ounces at 22 weeks or 20 weeks. Babies are born at different weights think about it. If the doctor felt you had a reason to be concerned they would let you know I promise. As for your due date, that is always an aproxamite. There are no promises your baby will arrive on the due date either so relax and enjoy your pregnancy! Everything is fine I am sure, or the doc would have told you.
I am going in for a c-section with my 3rd baby on Friday, I understand your worries, I think most women that have been pregnant will tell you the same. GOOD LUCK and ENJOY!

Some babies are smaller than others. If your doctor isnt concerned then you should be ok. If you saw a u/s tech, be sure to discuss with your doctor. I had my 20 wk u/s done friday and the tech didnt tell me anything but said I was 4 days further along than I was. I get confused also. I guess Im not much help here huh? =)

Sometimes doctor's have a different idea of what's on the internet. I don't get it either...but as long as the baby looked healthy...that's great thing...I wouldn't worry! Congrats on it being a little man!!! That;s awesome.
