Claire is the best name but only with an i and an e.That maybe because it is my name though, but seriously i do think the name Claire is very pretty and i would pick it over Kelly any day!

Hi. I think Kelly is nicer... You can shorten it to Kel or to Lee (leigh) and spell it lots of different ways. Yes there is a couple of different ways to spell Claire. But at the end of it Claire is just Claire. What can you shorten that to? Cl?!

They both sound irish and if you mean for a second name KELLY but for a first name CLAIRE.
