I have cleaned the nozzle but it is not a nozzle blockage. It seems the can has run out of gas. This is the third can of WD 40 in a row that this has happened to. Is there a use by date on the gas?

shake it before spraying, and never turn it on its side to spray. spray with it held upright. the gas will push the liquid out without wasting any gas.

WD-40 makes cans that are half the size of a regular can. I wouls suggest buying those instead.
