Go to Vital Statistics in whatever county and state ask for marriages in the year or around what date it may have occured you think they may have married. It will show you and you can keep on on dates until you finally find them or not, with the last name

If you know what county they where married in you can go to that countys web site under public records . Not all countys will do this for free , sometimes there,s a small fee , also some countys won't provide this info at all give it a shot .

A lot of county offices keep records of marriage and divorce. If you are in a state that recognizes common law marriage, you would have to know how long they have been together and the rules for your state. Try your county and state websites.
