Mg + ZnSO4 = MgSO4 + Zn

2Al + 3ZnSO4 = Al2(SO4)3 + 3Zn

i) increase if it moves from deser to rarer medium
ii)decrease if it moves from rarer to denser medium

2 When a ray of light enters a high density medium from a low density medium its wave length increases.When it goes from a high density medium to a low density medium the wave length decreases.

i think:
the wavelengh dosnt change, the wavelengh determins what colour the ray is (ie. ultraviolate or visable or infra red) i think that stays the same, it is its frequency that changes and that will decrease in a denser median. and increase in a lighter meadian.
