you know what, there is no such thing as "normal". NORMAL is just a stereotypical way to make everyone how you want thenm to be. my advice is be yourself. if people dont accept you the way you are, then you shoudlnt even bother trying to talk to them. I'm actually a junior in high school, and my experience, people will always try to bring you down, but no matter what you dress like or what music you listen to, there will always be friends around you that accept you for who you are. You dont have to wear Aeropostale to make friends who wear Aeropostale. Its not the clothes on the person that matter, its the person inside the clothes. (That sounds stupid but its true!!!)

My little gal,i was like u once.
I used to be very nerdy and had 'unacceptable' fashion sense and because of that i was teased.
During lower secondary school,i see my classmates wearing those hip hop attire and because those aren't my likings,i was left out.
Trust me,one of the beautiful thing that can happen is to be yourself.
It's called individual beauty.
We all grow and now after a few years,i'm quite trendy.
Clothes from lacoste,RL,topshop and tommy.hilfiger, guess and springfield.
Lol,i'm also very goodlooking now.[not to boast but to help u build ur confidence since this is coming from someone who used to be badlooking]
And nope,my dressing sense is not in any way influence by my friends.[they're still wearing those hip hop street wear attire while at 18,i'm wearing REAL MEN'S CLOTHING,those mature dressing yet fun and laidback, those sense of dressing u find in clubs]
What i'm trying to drill is "we all grow and it's all a journey of self discovery!"
Wear what u like to exule ur personality and style.
Many teens realised only at a later age that it's much beautiful to be oneself.
Why not acknowledge urself now than later.
I really hope this helped

ok girl, you need to be yourself and don't let anyone label you for who you are. none of these matter when you enter the real world in 10 years. fashion will change and music will fade, but you will always be you.
don't worry about what people think of you, don't try and please everyone in the world, you'll get tired. live up to your own standard rather than try to catch up.
you're at the best time of your life, enjoy it while you can.

be yourself. dont change from what u like to what u think other pl will like just to be cool. if they dont like u for who u r, then they arent real friends and u never know when they would backstab u. just be who u are and who u wanna be, tke it natural and whatever friends you make then u know they r ur true ones

relax, don't worry about it just be yourself . there is absolutely nothing wrong with being different . if preppy is your style then be preppy, if "normal" is just the way you are then be normal .

Do it for yourself. Don't try to be what you think other people want you to be.
