I have never planned on spending any of the refund. My thoughts on this are; plan the refund by allocating the money on your monthly expenditures and then allow yourself a little treat. Two sayings; Never count your chickens before they hatch and a bird in the hand is Worth two in the bush.

I borrowed money from my boyfriend to make a down payment on a new car so I have to pay him back. There goes my money....*sigh*
And yes its usually spent before I get it. Majority goes into savings but we usually put some away for summer vacation too....

Mine is going towards paying off my student loans. Damn college education never got me a big money job. In fact, I have a better chance of getting a job if I don't put it on my resume.
I'm thinking someone should write a book entitled "Dumming down for Dummies"

some of us are smart enough not to pay in too much and let the government use YOUR money for a whole year interest free!! refund- HA!! i owe them!
