Clinton failed to give even $1 to help our Grandmothers buy medicines.

Thank God that Bush is helping them out. 90% of seniors now have drug coverage.

It may not be perfect. But it's better than the ZERO dollars our grandparents got from Clinton.

Traditionally the Republicans are thought of as not caring, but Bush has broken the mold by taking the historic tax revenues in this unprecedented economy and poured billions into assistance for the poor and elderly.

Of course it is his spending on social issues tha make him unpopular with most conservatives. But if the government is going to exceed their constitutional mandates on social welfare programs at least he is spending it where it is needed most.

It is the fact that Bush makes policy based upon his values and not preconceived party lines that makes him unpopular with traditional conservatives.

The vast majority of American Grandmas live in Latin America and are Hispanic. Why would Clinton be involved with them?

Think about it, America has over 900 million people, of those only 320 million live in Anglo America of those over 30 million are Hispanic. Clearly Anglo America has barely 270 million people while Latin America has almost 700 million.

Unbelievable. Republicans oppose government assisted healthcare, calling it socialist. Democrats are fighting to introduce a universal healthcare system, and you see nothing but RED SCARE on this forum! So now, I'm reading where a Republican is criticizing a Democrat for not doing enough to assist in the healthcare arena?????

Pick a party and their platform and stick to it! Its the American way!

That is too bad. It's a good thing that the Dems are going to bring in Universal Health Care in '08. Then everyone will have coverage.

Ask your republican friends why they voted down Clinton's health care proposal, which would have included prescription coverage for seniors.
