I have used almost everything from prescriptions and OTC remedies to clear my skin, however, most don't work. I'd like to try something more "at home" and with ingredients that I know won't aggravate my sensitive skin. Any suggestions?

Hello, dear..Right choice, to use homemade remedies to clear your skin naturally, without damaging its natural balance ( PH level, etc.). I have some proven, workable remedies for clearing my too sensitive and at times problematic skin and they are even powerful than the too pricey or advertised cosmetic products. Well, let me share you as I am saying "my little secrets".

1) Remedy for clearing deeply the skin pores and removing all dead cells, improving the skin tone:
Mix one teaspoonful of witch hazel( flour) with two teaspoonful of oat flour with white of the egg or with rose water;
2) For everyday safe and mild clearing you can merely mix oatmeal flour with water;
3) Clearing the skin, toning and reinvigorating mask: clay ( very powerful absorbent of all impurities, rich in minerals) with rose water;
4) Natural tonic for mixed and sensitive skin: equal proportions of cucumber juice and rose water;
5) Apply lukewarm milk from time to time on the face and then gently splash it with cold water;
6) Great ingredients has the natural honey, you could add it to plenty of masks or solely, your facial skin will shine;

Just try one of them and you'll see the result!
Have a great day!

Try grinding up oatmeal and adding a little water to make a fine paste. More important than what you use, however, is how often you use it. It's a very real possibility that you may be breaking out *from* what you use. Unless you work in a coal mine, it's really not neccessary to wash your face more than once a day. What I do is wash with the oatmeal solution before bed and moisturize directly afterwards (admitedly with an over the counter- Burts Bees Carrot Day Cream), and I haven't had a breakout in years. Not even when I was pregnant and supposed to be breaking out.

This is going to sound grosss and no it's not a prank or joke. Your early morning urine (pee) is the best home remedy to clear your skin. That's what both moms used when we were babies for skin rashes and such. It still works!!! Never us commerical soaps on your face b/c it has too many chemicals in it. Never use alcohol because it will dry your skin out and may cause breakouts. Peroxide is great to use if you dont have metal fillings in your mouth. But your URINE is the best method-trust me!

I had bad acne as a teenager.What cleared mine up completely was stress reduction.I would recommend meditation for it.

Also reduce toxins by minimizing meats and dairy,and drinking hot water through out the day.
