"Oh my, that was a joke right? You see, I'm asking because it's kind of hard to tell. Jokes are usually funny or at least sort of funny, and this one wasn't. It was so lame I just had to ask.
It kind of sounded like more of that immature, unintelligent divisiveness that so many people still insist on encouraging. They are the ones that just cannot realize our nation is as strong as the links that hold us together. The divisive folks (whether they be Democrat, Republican, Conservative or Liberal) like the stupid jokes(?), the witty(?) little names and the constant division that permeates our society. What they don't realize is that as they enable our nation to continually grow weaker through divisiveness they continue to give REAL support to our many enemies. For the life of me, I just cannot fathom why you guys continue to do that. "

Nah.. it will take one. BUT there will be a new gov't agency formed to regulate the installation of the new light bulb along with filing environmental impact statements concerning it.
Of course, there will be a 10% surcharge on your taxes to cover the cost of the new program.

Well, it takes quite a few, say a majority in Congress but at least we can screw in the light bulb unlike the conservatives that all they know how to do is spend our tax dollars, increase the size of big government, let in illegals, and send our soldiers off to die in a illegitimate war.
