Los Angeles County has the largest population, 10,245,572 people. No other county has even a third as much.

San Bernardino County has the largest area, 20,164 square miles. The next largest (Inyo County) has barely half as much.

Largest in what? If it is population, then it is Los Angeles County. In terms of area, it is San Bernardino, which is essentially the high deserts.
