we have both been aware for some time that she is a lot stronger than i am. Now very ocasionally , and if she is very unhappy with my behaviour, she spanks me!
It is not only painful, it is a little humiliating and makes me feel , sort of weak and vulnerable.
It only happens now and again, do you think i should accept it, and try harder to make her happy, or do you think i should make a bit of a stand?

OH, I hope this is a joke question, because it made me laugh.
That would be the day that my partner 'spanked' me. I'm not really into the rough stuff, only once in a while......
If you are serious, and there is some child-like correction going on, you definitely need to speak with her.
Not only is it humiliating, but it is belittling.
Take a stand, or next you might get a time out in the corner?!?

Well, first of all, such things should only take place in situations where one person has consented to be held accountable in such a way. This is called a "domestic discipline" relationship, and is quite healthy if practiced in a sane manner. The other person, male or female, has to actually desire that kind of discipline in their lives, or it won't work for them. Plus, without consent, it's not discipline. It's abuse. Do an online search for domestic discipline sites to educate yourself. If this isn't something that you want in your life, then take a stand for yourself.

I think you should make a stand...like in front of a psychiatrist when you go for counseling. She is either into dominatrix or wanting a mother simplex relationship with you and I'd say because you are feeling humiliated and it's painful, unless your into this sick obsession, she needs help.

Well, if you are not a willing participant of this, then it is considered domestic violence and she could go to jail for it. I would definately make a stand and tell her it is not acceptable, make sure she knows how it makes you feel. If it continues you may have to press charges against her to get her to figure it out.
