Credit card debt is unfortunate. Taking out loans to pay for shoes, clothing, meals, etc.....Especially when most of the junk we buy is ready for goodwill in a month. Bunch of useless crap we've indebted ourselves for. I read about some group that has not bought anything new except toiletries and food, and has found items to live on for a year or more. Some of them are a little overboard, actually dumpster diving for food, I think that's a little gross and unsanitary. I think it was California based.

Proudly, I have been credit card debt free for almost 2 years. I got my first credit card at 17 and the debt came rolling in. It took me almost 20 years, but I am now out of that rat trap.

Only about $500... but I owe quite a bit on my in house credit where I work... Not good to be in debt to the people who pay you lol.

after looking at the interest rate they charge, I paid them off. It got up to almost $10,000. It got to easy to say charge. I do not carry the credit cards with me- too tempting. If I can not pay cash I do not buy. Be careful. It might be fun but it catches up to you when you get the statement. (big shock)

ZERO DEBT!
Today's generation believes that a credit card is a way of life.
For me, it is an emergency backup source for funds, or for traveling when you don't want to carry a lot of cash.
I always pay in full, the first payment, and no interrest.

Well Miss:I don't own them at all:i safe first on my creditcard. It is easy to go overboard on a spending day,but i hate to be in debt.
Then I RATHER NOT BUY AND PAY AT LEAST 10% EXTRA.
So I have no debt at all.
