My mother in law keeps getting porn cookies on her computer. She is blaming my son instead of the grandson who lives with her. He tells her that those porn cookies can just pop up in the temporary internet files, I say no. Which is true?

well not really, if you happen to visit a site say a Warez site looking for cracks.... a warez site can automatically open up 2 or 3 windows with porn sites on them, these cookies get on your pc and you never even went to the site by your own choosing.

I say you will never know, but if you ask me, I bet both of them are doing it! lol

look at the dates and time stamps on the cookies... if your son happens to be at that PC durring those times then chances are that he might have found a new hobbie,... try typing in the name of one of the sites you find in the cookies... type it into the browsers address field directly, as you type the name, if you find that the address is already listed then someone had to manually, input this. If you don't then it could have been one of those spam advertisments!

If porn pop ups are happening or cookies found from porn sites, then without a doubt someone has visited porn sites.
