it was 31st night. we were best friends since college days, but that night we were out for a party, he was a bit high and i also had a small peg. i dont know why he took me closer and kissed me, carressed me, he had never ever expressed his feelings before. however the very next morning he said he didnt remember anything. i m not sure if he does. cause he has broken his friendship with his so called friend. i am a bit confused is he hinting that he wants some time to get on his feet i mean financially, or that he does not remember anyhting and i shoukld forget. he is my best friend i dont want to loose him. please help me

Sounds like he thought he might try and get some action for the night, and since it didn't happen he is just pretending to forget,in case you want more than friendship
