I am 36 weeks now and my doctor gave me the "okay". I was told if I go into labor now it wouldn't be stopped. I had early diliation and have been on bedrest since almost 34 weeks. But now that I know that I can go into labor and it's almost time, I am starting to get nervous again. I have already experienced it I know what to expect, anyone else feeling this way?

yes i am. with my first baby i dont think that i was this nervous but now i am. i have been having contractions and im 28 weeks. my baby is healthy she just wants out. so i've been trying to relax and not get too stressed out but i have to admit that im scared about how my daughter will react to this baby and how my husband and i are going to spend time together with two kids. i've been up and down the whole time. hopefully everything goes smoothly. congrats & good luck.

I think it is pretty normal since we know that no labor is the same. It is a fear of the unknown, you may be more calm when you do go to the hospital (i was) as you know how things happen, the policies & even the hospital rooms etc. If you can keep your nerves down the pain resepters are less likely to feel un needed pain. Also 2nd & subsiquent pregnancies if somewhat close together (4 or less years) are much easier, my son & daughter are almost 3 years apart, my first labor was 24 hours w/ 5 hours of pushing, my 2nd labor 2 hours 1 small push, stay calm & things go easier. But it is perfectly normal to feel that way.

I just went through it last week. I had my baby Jan 23 via c-section. It was scheduled and I had no labor. I was laying on thhe operating table and in tears and scared to death. I had a previous c-section, too but that was 14 years ago and had no pregnancies since. I felt stupid but also very out of control of my own body. I am now 39 and kinda old for having babies. All in all the actual surgery went very well. I had some post op complications in days 3 and 4 with fever and severe reaction to the antibiotic - but now that it's over I think it was just normal pregnancy hormones.
Congrats on your baby. I had a girl - Caitlyn Sahara. She's perfect and worth all the trouble.

I think it's normal to be nervous for each delivery. The fact that you're on bedreast gives you more time to dwell on the issue too. If you were able to keep yourself busy and preoccupied, you might not be so anxious.

Everything will be fine.... congrats.

I did! My husband thought I was nuts. I was so worried with my 3rd & 4th babies. I don't know what it was. But once I was in labor everything was fine. :)
