I find myself completely unable to pronounce sheep correctly (instead I pronounce it as ship). Can some one please explain the mouth or tongue movement for pronouncing sheep correctly and its difference between "s" sound. Most of information on net has proved unuseful. Please help..

The difference between ship and sheep is not the sh sound ; it is the vowels in the middle. Ship is short i and sheep is long e.
Short i is like igloo or indian. Long e is like its name e.

Sh is like someone trying to quiet a baby "Sh-h-h-" teeth almost together, lips slightly rounded, blowing air out.
S is like a snake sound, teeth together- a harder sound.

"Sh" is the sound a mother makes to quiet a baby. Th "ee in "sheep", well, it's the same as the "ea" in the word "scream". I don't think one can say "scream" without getting the "ee" sound right. I mean, you don't say "scream" as "scrim", right? Just imagine a girl screaming "EEK!" then put that sound in between a mom quieting a baby and the "p" sound.
