Mykonos is a small island where the wealthy go to have their yacht party dinners. The main town has that nice white and blue architecture that you're used to seeing in Greece's pictures and there are a few pelicans on the streets. The cost of life is generally quite high compared to other Greek islands and, if I may so, not worth it when you do have islands like Crete, Rhodes, Santorini and other interesting islands as well.

One of the most cosmopolitan island of the world
great place, best season from late may until late September.
great beaches, extreme night life, and extreme daylight beach party's.
Unique architecture.
If you book a room prefer one inside the main town. you won't need a car there.
The prices for food and drinks and staying can be from quite low until very very high depending from where you go.
