I don't think everybody in this world has emotional obstacles to overcome because we are all different. Mine have been lack of self-confidence and fear of failure. Some obstacles could stem from childhood, while others may develop as one grows older and has more experiences. Overcoming obstacles can be time-consuming and difficult but rewarding in the end. It's never too late to try.

The biggest obstacle that I have overcome is finally realizing that religion and being religious does not equate to being a good or spiritual person. Seeing beyond religion into the spiritual aspect of God and the universe and of humanity has helped me grow immensely as an individual. I've become much kinder and more compassionate in the process.

A car accident that left me unable to speak, but yet I have been an actress for 3 years, unable to see, now I wear glasses, to read but I have over 500 books, unable to walk, but I have walked miles upon miles around this town, unable to do math, I can do basic math but nothing like college algebra or geometry, memory lose, but I remember more then my doctors thought I would. Actually to live, and what a joy it is to see the sunset every night and the stars decorate the sky, and to see the sun rise and shoot it's rays of light purple in the sky, too never write again, but I have written about 8 or 9 stories.

Too numerous to count. Every thing from little, everyday obstacles like not having enough cash to get a breakfast burrito, to big things like religious persecution and fear of not being accepted.

Epilepsy and depression, i got Epilepsy when i was 7, and was having 6 fits a night, but i refused to let it bug me and continued working hard at controlling and experiamenting with medication to get better for 6 years.
Then At 15 i got depressed for the first time and it has been on and off for 5 years, but i refuse to go on medication, work and socialise my way through it, even though one of my side effects are stomach cramping, dizzy spells through nerve and IBS, i refuse to let it get me.
I also have one grandad with Cancer, one died of a heart attack, my mum has suffered from deression since then.
My Nanny has Azeimers, and i am the only granddaughter who still takes her out.
But i think i am lucky, it could be worse, with the state our planet is in, we kind of deserve our problems we endure!!
I am determined to live life ti the full, become a teacher and get a first degree.......fingers crossed

Many deaths in my family, loss of a job, divorce, pretty much the same obstacles that others face on a daily basis. But like they say, what doesn't kill us makes us stronger.
