I am ramping up the horsepower on my trailblazer with a K&N filter and a chip but looking to upgrade my current muffler. My engine is a bigish 4.2 but I wonder if it will sound like a 91 Toyoya Tercel with a performance muffler on it.

Well I don't think it'll sound like a Tercel with a performance muffler lol

It is a 6 cyl and it's a 4.2L so a Magnaflow shouldn't sound too bad.

I put dual Magnaflows on my 84 Grand Prix with a 350 and they sound great. If you want a deep muscle car sound, Magnaflow is the way to go.

If you are looking for a rumbling sound, then you can't go wrong. The sound will be low while idling, but when you step on the gas, then the growl you're probably looking for will show. Just know that you'll hear it inside your cabin a little.

That aside, you can't go wrong, especially since it's low cost to do.
