Numerous cases are recorded of successful use of Garlic internally (for nasal polyps), and by inserting Garlic powder, oil, or a sliver of fresh corm into the nostril.

Powdered Blood root or Thuja can be used as a snuff twice daily. Other effective agents are powdered Bayberry, Black Walnut (may stain skin brown), Myrrh, Goldenseal (may stain yellow). Tincture of Thuja, 1-3 drops daily, assists.

I found this in this site; it mentions it's caused by a zinc deficiency; & suggest: "... For the body to best respond to zinc, I suggest you take zinc acetate (without the calcium carbonate and tricalcium phosphate fillers), vitamin b6 and magnesium. These three seems to work in synergy."
