I have no bad memories or feelings of the first C-Section experience, so why am I so nervous this time?

It's a major surgery. You should be a little nervous. There's nothing wrong with that. My wife delivered our first child via C-Section and she'll be delivering our second that way in a few months. You'll be okay.

I going into my second delivery, not c-section, but I have noticed I am nervous about it. I feel the same way no bad memories and I had a good experience, but I am nervous all over again.

Because it's surgery. Even though you have no bad memories of the first time around, you probably subconciously remember how much of a pain in the butt it is for the first few days to get up and moving around again(spoken from recent experience), and now you have to take care of another child as well, so it will be different in some ways. Good luck!

I've had three c-sections myself, and I got more nervous with each one as well. However, everything went fine with all of them. Don't worry... It is completely natural to be nervous. Even people that deliver naturally can be nervous! If it seems overwhelming though, you should probably talk with your doctor about it. They may be able to help you as well.

because a c-section is major surgery. Although most end up with no complications, you still have that thought in the back of your head that something could go wrong. Just try to relax.

congrats on your soon to be baby!

I think it is always scary to have surgery which is what a csection is,so that is normal. Although ost woman say the 2nd csection is easier because they should use the same insition and the mssle has already been cut.

It is a surgical way of delivering the baby and you may be afraid of harm to the baby. The chances of something happening in a c_section is very slim

I think it's normal to be apprehensive and nervous approaching any delivery... natural or c-section.

You already know what to expect... everything will be fine... the hardest part will be dealing with your oldest child.

It's always nerve wracking when you're going to have a baby. Good luck. I'm sure it'll all be fine. :)
