the loudest you will ever get any vechicle via exhaust is through cutouts they make Y-pipes that have electronic cutouts all you do is flip the switch and its like running open headers

Mine was too loud after the changes I did. 3.25 pully, thrasher air box, headers, 3" rt downpipe w/ high flow cat and u bend delete. 3" custom exhaust with dual magnaflow mufflers. I had to add a resonator because I would set offf car alarms as I drove by them. I could also not drive down the street at night as I would wake everyone up. I do have more things done but those are what you want if you want a v8 sound. the next thing is the race cam and yes this is a daily driver.

a cold air intake will help some but if you want a v8 sound you should have bought a v8! the gtp is a sleeper car get yourself a new pulley, an ecm/pcm tune from the internet, v6's are hard to sound like a v8's. 240hp to start with what i recommend you should be somewhere close to 280 hp if not more.

Try high flow catalytic converters. I think you can get them from Jeg's or Summit Racing.
