You can't buy money on-line. You'll have to buy a $100 bill at a bureau de change, it'll cost you about £60.
As it's part of a prank, get someone whose handwriting the recipient won't recognise to address the envelope, or use your printer to do it. Then you'll have to go to the post office and send it by recorded delivery.

Well the simple answer to that would be to go to post office or travel agent ect ect, and exchange for it and put it in a envelope and then send it through the post office ask for it to be signed for they don't need to know what is in it.

its got to be possible to buy it on ebay. If its not listed, simply message a seller from the states (he/she could be selling anything) and tell them you will pay the $100. p&p costs and maybe £10 for their troubles.
Im sure you'd get a 'yes' in this first 5 attempts.
(Pay through paypal though, so they you are protected against fraud!).
