What are some theme songs that really tell something? Like in movies (RUDY is a good example) something happens that teaches a lesson in life.
but what are some songs that do that?
I can think of 3 right from Rocky 4 and 5
"No Easy Way Out"
"Burning Heart"
and from Rocky 5
the ending song (not sure of its name) but it had some amazing words in it.

This is cheesy I know but a song that has always stuck out in my mind besides "Eye of the Tiger" from Rocky has been "You're The Best" by Joe Esposito from The Karate Kid. Very cheesy inspiring Daniel to kick some butt in the tournament! Its hilarious when I hear it but still pumps me up!
Other favorites:
-Danger Zone by Kenny Loggins from Top Gun
-The Heat is On by Glenn Frey from Beverly Hills Cop

"Don't You Forget About Me" from the Breakfast Club! OMGoodness! That's like, the most incredible example I can think of. The lyrics are dead on!!
Another song that comes to my mind is "Take My Breath Away" from Top Gun. I know it's kinda cheesy, but it's played at a couple different parts of the movie.
I also think that the Resivoir Dogs song "Little Green Bag" (by George Baker Selection) kinda sums up the movie too.
{I would have answered Eminem's 8 Mile theme song as well, but someone beat me to it. Drat!} :-)

Loose yourself by eminem for the movie 8-mile ...that song encompassed all what was conveyed in the movie...and it definately has a gr8 significant meanning...many people can relate to it..
