I'm Repub. and think Cheney should resign for "health reasons" he is too much baggage to carry for 2 more years. I feel a new VP could also gain the 08 Rep.Nomination and possibly win.
If you think Cheney should resign, pls state why and what party you normally align with. Lets get as many answers, as possible and then forward them to the White House. Repubs/Dems/Indies/ Lets all make our voices heard on this issue!!

I like your thinking in some ways... Cheney resigns and Bush elevates (nominates) Rice for VP. The move helps position Rice for a 2008 presidential bid. She wins back to back terms, and we have good leadership in the White House until 2016, and time to groom the replacement.

I don't think he should,, what I think is that all of the Republicans that are joining the Democrats in their quest should resign from the Republican party and join the Democrats. Chaney should stay.
