Who gave that answer two thumps up. They are BOTH dual core people. The lower end Core 2 Duo will perform better becaue of its better and more efficient architecture.

Core 2 Duo should give you better performance with lower heat and power. Definitely the best to go with at this time.

Depends on what programs you have, if the programs can make use of the Core Duo, then choose that, if it cannot use the Duo core, then forget about it
