ok i havent started my af yet:) the last day of my af was in dec 27 and still dident start :( so when i went to get a paps i seen some blood so could it make me start my af PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anytime I go to my obgyn and have a pap I normally start the next day. Never fails. Give it till thurs and if it hasn't started by then call your ob back... Good luck it will all be ok. Could be stress causing you not to start.

I'm not sure what af is, but I assume it is a period. After a pap smear, it is common to get some bloody discharge. It is only January 29. Does your period come like after the same amount of time each month? Have you had sex?
If you have not had sex, I would not worry about it. If your period does not come by the end of the week, give your doctor a call.
If your period comes at the same time, and you have had sex, go and get a pregnancy test. It may give you a little piece of mind to take it.

No, there can sometimes be blood after the pap smear because they must literally scrape to get a sample of the lining. They bleeding should stop after a few days unless it is time for your monthly. You cant do anything about it. It is just a coincidence.

it could or the bleeding could be from the exam. i bleed everytime i get a pap take a pregnancy test
