Tools -internet options- clear history

This can be done in the following ways;
1. Click History Tab and delete from there.
2. Click Internet Options and uncheck the boxes under History if your browser is Mozilla Firefox.
3. In case of Internet Explorer also, you may follow the similar process conceptually.

Since it has been answered if you are using IE, for Mozilla Firefox, you can click on Tools - Clear Private Data. That will depete your entire histry record, web addresses you visited and all the search options you looked for while using any search engine.
