Whether climate change is real or not.....how could over 1 in 10 Americans not even be aware of the issue?

Thirteen percent of people haven't heard of anything, so why are you surprised? These are the kind of people that don't even know that Bush is our president.

Not surprising. The number of Americans that still believe that Iraq was responsible for 9/11 is mind boggling.
Information and the control of that information is up to governments and media. Most heard the administration poo poo climate change for the last six years and only last week did the president alluded to it; all be it in non specific terms. The number of people who don't read newspapers and don't watch the news on TV is also mind blowing. The number of the population that know what Paris Hilton is doing and don't know what the government is doing and has for six years is truly amazing.
Scary isn't it.

10% is probably lower than the fraction of people who outright lie to poll-takers because they're annoyed at the dinner-time phone call.
It's also much, much lower than the fraction of the people in the world who think "global warming is a serious international issue" but who couldn't answer basic questions about what is thought to cause it, what the Earth's past climate has been like, what the results of the proposed restrictions would be on the climate and the international economy, etc.

It's easy to answer. Americans ( and the most of the human beings ) do not care about things like global warming, polution etc.
They working for getting more and more costumer goods.
You have to ask yourself as well how often do you by a new cellphone, how often do you use your car, how much water do you waste in a day etc.
For the global companies its not a goal to aware people. The only thing they want is selling.

LIBERAL PROPAGANDA! Global warming beyond the normal and the natural is a myth, promoted by the liberal lunatic, Al Gore, who also has made wild claims about "inventing the Internet"!
Liberal Yahoo sticks it on their front page, just like they stick Hillary Clinton on there.
Now, perhaps if the liberals instigate the "fairness doctrine" in an attempt to silence the sensible, unbrainwashed people, it will backfire on them, because whenever I see things such as this, I'm going to report it and insist on equal time for the sane point of view to be presented!
