Your family will come around soon. I'll bet once you get married their attitude will change. Just do it before the baby comes.

Congratulations, sweetie! This IS indeed a very exciting time in your life. Enjoy every minute of it, because it does go by very quickly.

they will come around ... just give them some time. Of course they'd prefer things to happen in a certain order or according to plan, but guess what life is what happens while your busy making plans. If you love your BF and you plan on sharing your life with him, and you are both happy about your baby, then thats all that matters, eventually you'll be married and be a family exactly as your family would like ... so doesn't really matter what order that happens in. Besides this wont make them love your baby any less.

your family is probably a bit shocked. But they are probably excited too. im 28 weeks pregnant and some of my family still wont admit they are excited, like my grandefather. But he shows his excitment in different ways, like the ultrasound pictures. Once your family sees the baby, they will be happy for the both of you.

Dont worry at least your mom didnt react like my mom did when i said hey im pregnant she looked at me and said ' well i think you should consider abortion' i was appalled a church going southern baptist said that omg what did i do is all i thought. So turn out she thought she wasnt old enough to be a grandma still doesnt think she is old enough but thats life my dad on the other hand loves it. My husbands family loves having grandkids so maybe it was shock maybe they dont think they are old enough but thats life and talk to them ask them why they dont seem happy tell them its not like i ruined my life i love bf and we are getting married and i graduated etc so why cant you be happy for me and see what they say otherwise let them come around and it may take until you can say im having a boy/girl or here is your grandbaby born on and at yada yada just let them come out after asking them why the long faces so good luck honey and best wishes to you and yours

You have to give them sometime. They will get over it. If it makes you happy it should make them happy too. Once you start getting
bigger and showing, I'll bet they won't be able to control their happiness. As long as you do Graduate, I don't think they should have any problem. They will be sooo happy once the baby is here. Congratulations and Good Luck.

first off congrats!!!

You can not make someone think something that they dont want to. i was affraid that my parents were going to be mad because i was their baby. but i was like you excited about the baby, they were upset at first then they had to accept it. now it is almost 4 years later and they love all three of my children more than they love me. LOL give them time and it will take some time to get use to the idea.

Good luck

well they will have to accept it eventually.. my parents were pretty upset when they first found out that I was pregnant.. but they wouldn't give my son up for the world now... they are so close to him.... so just explain to them how you feel and that you would like to have their support.. it not.. then you will just have to stay strong and just stand up for what you believe..

how old are you?? you said after i graduate... it is high school??/ then if I was your mom i might be a little disappointed at first.. but still love and suport you.. but that would be a little different...

Good Luck and Stay Strong!!!

leave them alone and they'll come home.

i am a 28 yr old who's been living on my own since 17. my mother told me she could not speak to me and will have nothing to do with my child when i told her i was pregnant. she slept on the hospital bench (not bed) in the corridor from 10.30pm to 7.00am the night i went to deliver.

my dad and my fiance's parents still on the shitty end. but the joys of being a mummy will make you so happy. they are the one's losing out.
