It is a state secret. Shhh! But, really, who knows? We know that his brother, Raul, is still in power. There have been reports from Spain that his condition is dire, but he seems to be holding on. Even if he died, I am not so sure the world would find out in a straight-forward manner. The country's leaders would work quickly to solidify their power and grip on the people, first.
