intel core 2 duo is the best out there. They have two processers in one making multi tasking a much easier and efficien task. It has bin said that "intel took a big leap in terms of fast processors"

It's most likely some processor that isnt for retail sale... like something for NASA or maybe it could be something like a quad core cpu or a cpu that runs solaris... I'm not even sure but those are my best guesses.

Hi. Right now, if you mean a single CPU, then the first answers may be correct. If you means SYSTEM, then i think it is distributed computing. Folding @ Home is a good example.

In terms of power "Intel Itanium" processors which are designed for high end servers are the best.
