i was a little upset by the price (he got the more expensive one)
for those of you who have it...is it worth it?

I think it is worth it. It's basically up to whoever plays the system. Was it worth it to you to see his face when he saw that you had bought it for him? My Xbox360 was actually bought for me from my girlfriend and I loved it. The only thing I have against it is, it's very temperamental. Sometimes you can have the smallest scratch ever on a DVD or game and the system won't play it. Other than that I love it and I love the games that are coming out for it. I have played the PS3 and to be quite honest i'm not that impressed, so I think you did a good job in what you picked out for him.

Wow are you nuts! I hope he's very good to you and that he was worth it. I guess if you are a guy it's worth it. The only thing different about the 360 over the regular one is improved graphics and about $400. I hope you realized before you purchased it that if you dont have the correct T.V then the graphics will not work anyway. Also the games are much more expensive to buy, I just hope you researched first and hope he loves you for it. Make sure he treats it/ you good.

You must really like him...or not...depending on his gaming, if you get him Oblivion, you will not see him for weeks....but the answer to your question is YES the XBOX 360 is worth it, just for the games that are available for it. If he has a high speed internet connection, and is willing to pay the money for XBOX Live, then he will definitely be in your debt for many months...nay, years to come...(The reason the more expensive one was worth it...the memory core and wireless controllers come with it....the memory storage is a must and the wireless controllers are very nice)
