June 14, 1999-I had a kidney and pancreas transplant! January 19, 2001-I had open heart surgery. And just about every other day as well...if I wake up, it's reason to celebrate!

I used to do my own thing on New Years although I haven't done it lately. Just take a couple hours by myself with a journal and take stock of the year. What I liked, what I didn't like, how I had changed, what was unexpected, what was planned, etc. And then pray over everything and come up with goals for the next year.

For me, that's only yet another day. that's not greater substantial than the different and easily forgettable as a particular date. in spite of everything, the place do you place it? once you met, once you first had a weigh down, once you first kissed, once you first had intercourse? that's not a "guy" ingredient. i understand a lot of fellows that are anal approximately conserving particular dates sacred, alongside with the anniversaries. I additionally understand loads of girls that don't care one way or the different. That leaves little room for it to be gender particular for my area.
