A white elephant sale is just another name for a garage, yard, moving, divorce or estate sale. It is a sale held primarily to get rid of things you do not want or need for any reason.

I usually just price everything in advance and arrange all the merchandise for sale on tables and just wait for the customers with plenty of one dollar bills and change. I bargain with customers when they are close to my price, and let things go cheap, just to get rid of it.I mean, that is why I was having the white elephant sale, sidewalk sale...to get rid of all my extra stuff.
I go in with neighbors and other people who have things to sell, and we make a day of it..and go to dinner after a great day, spending our hardearned money over spagetti and red wine. But I remember the comradeship now that they are both gone from this planet.Have fun.

You will need several white elephants to sell. Then you can sell other colors as needed.
